12/16/08 Council Meeting - Council Vote on Mayor's Veto Tonight, Council voted on the issue of whether to uphold or override the Mayor's veto of the funding item for a pavilion in Frontier Park. There were no citizen speakers. Mayor York stated the facts of the veto. Council had no discussion. Councilmembers voted 5 to 4 to uphold the Mayor's veto. Voting to uphold the veto were Feldman, Muench, Klinghammer, Kneemiller and Reese. Voting to override the Mayor's veto were Beckering, Veit, Ermeling and Stivison. Councilman Mike Weller was absent. |
